"Sorry for the text only article but Ixxx8217;m writing direct from my device. Ixxx8217;m in a BlackBerry Seminar and have pinned the RIM spokesman to a release date for the new device OS 4.5. Seems it will officially be released today (Friday 25/07/08) on Optus in Australia. Worldwide roll-out across all carriers will be within the next 2 weeks.
So for those of you who have not updated using one of the leaked Betaxxx8217;s then the wait is almost over."
