When I click the Twitter icon nothing happens. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall again but not working..

You might try deleting it again. Afterward, remove the battery for about a minute. Then install again and test.

Next step if that doesn't work is a security wipe. Do a full backup first. After the wipe, selectively restore just data, no settings.

And if that doesn't work, do a clean reinstall of the OS.

I think first of all update your phone and reinstall twitter. After that it may open this app .
