Anyone else wish there was a setting to get rid of this? When using a headset, and otherwise, I will flick out to calendar and other apps frequently while on a phone call. Because I'm on the phone, I generally am trying to find something or enter something quickly and would love to get rid of the extra step.

I agree! That would be so nice! I do the exact same thing. Whether it's trying to look if I have some free time, or looking for a number for someone.

Just use Alt-Escape. It's like Alt-Tab on your PC.

I know all about alt-esc, but that's normally a two-handed operation. They should just add that little check box "don't show this notice again".

I've grown to love that convenience key over alt-esc. MUCH more convenient.

On my 8700g, I simply press the end call button (the red button), which will close that message when it pops up, alwyas after a missed call. On my 7290 I never had that, and agree, it is annoying as hell!

I can click the track wheel and go down to "Home Screen" and still be on the call and go through my BB apps. Although it is still 2 steps yes. Not a shortcut.

Yeah, I rarley do this...but when I do want to look something up while on the phone, I usualy forget what to do and it takes me a second or two. Espescially difficult if you are not on a headset and just have to convince the person on the other line that you are still there by talking into your BB but not being able to listen Assuming you don't wanna use speakerphone.
