Sorry - I've posted about this on page 43 of another thread but I'm so desperate I figured I'd put it here too.

I've got a JVM102 error. I know I need to use a JL_Cmder to fix it but when I try to use it it doesn't work. I think originally it was due to having a 64bit system so when I used the first version I just got a page saying that the javaloader was inoperable (or some message along those lines). I've now found the v4 of JL_cmder but that's not working either - when I try to run it I get a black text box flashing up too briefly for me to read what it says and then nothing else at all.

Please please help - I don't care about the phone at all as I can use my husband's old one, but I'm desperate to get the data. We moved house a couple of months ago and I haven't backed up since then as the cable disappeared in the move. The phone's got tons of photos of the kids, vital family info, and a host of personal things I just can't bear to be without!

Are the pics of the kids on the SD card?

If the worst is likely to happen then I'd take that out now and put an empty one in. At least then you have the pics.

All data that is stored on the phone (contacts, notes, calendar, tasks and messages) is lost.
Data on the microSD card (hopefully your pictures) should be OK.

Thanks guys. Sadly I don't seem to have an SD card. Aargh! As well as the pictures the main things I need back are the memos as I have so many vital pieces of info there. I think I can cope without almost everything else but the memos and photos are key!
Any other thoughts would be very greatly appreciated.

Have you looked under your battery next to the sim card?

Yes, I've looked. Just an empty space there as far as I can see. Am sure the card would be a removable one? I bought my BB at CEX - maybe there wasn't a card with it or perhaps there was and I was supposed to put it in but never realised. Ah well...

Go to RIM and look at the photo of the location of the SD card. It's very small and extreemly easy to miss.

What is the model number of your Bold?
