Default Help! I think my Curve has been tapped

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying this again. Just posted (I think) but then my internet went down. So I am doing another one. Anyway, I am almost certain that my phone has been tapped. This particular person has access to personal information of mine and has also hacked into my email account. I need to know asap if this is happening. I don't know if this is something that you guys deal with or would know how to determine? My carrier is Verizon, but they are not being any help whatsoever. I have done a ton of research on this and have been to the cops and I keep getting conflicting views. Not sure what to do. But must know something soon. Can you please contact me as soon as possible? Thank you so much.

Welcome to the forums.

What makes you say that your phone has been 'tapped'? What's happening?

First off, put a password on your device. One that isn't easy to guess and has a mix of numbers and letters. Then go change your email password and also go to the Verizon website and change both the logon password there and update your password for your email account.

With your e-mail passwords, you will need to change for device and also with actual e-mail acct (yahoo, google etc.)

Look around on this site for section on PIN messaging also. Its another way to communicate with other blackberry users and is more secure.

Default Free app might help

There's this free app called Kisses that can detect spyware and sshow you a list of everything running on your BB, both programs and processes.

Not sure if this will help. The app is free; I got it from either MobiHand or BlackBerry App World.

Yea, Kisses is developed and produced by the same guy who also developed the Phone listener spyware app.

We've heard all about it.

Esme, If you've done a ton of research on this, why not share it with us so we can begin helping you?

Thanks
