Hi everyone,

I am new to Blackberry & have bought a unlocked 9900. When I put my SIM card in it keeps saying please insert SIM card.

I have spoken to O2 who have added the blackberry services to my SIM Card.

I have checked the SIM card details in advanced settings & it says that Identity & Associations are all Disabled.

When I go into manage connections & then into the Mobile Network is says Mobile Network is Vodafone UK.

Is the phone working?

Sometimes SIM cards go bad, or are just not identified by newer models. o2 will probably replace your SIM card for free (or a small fee) if you go to a store.

I unlocked my Rogers 9900 and slipped in a tmobile SIM. It asks me for my blackberry ID. I enter the correct one but it won't accept it and only gives me 10 tries before locking me out. Any advice please?
