I just did. I am with Verizon and i hate it, they were raping me for 80 bucks each month on my lame enV phone (that does nothing!) and for the same price i can basically get allot more on the Bold. It was too much of a good deal not to take it. I am SO excited. Initially i wanted an iPhone but that can wait. Plus the Bold does allot of the same things. *flails in excitement*

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)
I'm personally not a bif refurb fan (poor experiences) but most people have little or no trouble with the refurbs

i paid a lot for my bold when at&t first released them. if i could go back and get it for free i would have more than 2 extra batteries, a jawbone2, an external mini batterie charger, a 8gb mini sd card, a 16gb mini sd card, a red croc battery cover, a carbon fiber battery cover, a black bezel, a black lanyard, a red lanyard, and a red track ball. man, i have a lot of stuff for my bold phone. almost a grand worth of blackberry juice. yeah, so take the free one and be more than one up on me...

It sounds like a sweet deal-just be aware the the "free" device cost is contingent on a 2 year contract with ATT-if that's not an issue for you, by all means, go for it.

This is a total scam... I have been a Cingular & AT&T customer of long standing. I am eligible for a free or reduced priced phone as my current contract expires in 2 weeks. I have an 8800 and was willing to upgrade for another 2 years. AT&T said no you must pay $199, only new customers were eligible for the free Bold. So forget any loyalty to customers who have stayed with the carrier..

Sounds like a deal but what if they charge you an additional fee for the phone once you pay the $175 ETF??? Anybody know??
Oh, and where do you see it for free?? The refurb shows up for $199 on my computer??
