I recently bought a blackberry curve, i was already on contract just wanted a blackberry so i got one.

i found out that u need blackberry mail to use e-mail and bbm, which i want to do. so i went on tmobile and it says i need to text BB1 to 879 which i did,

i got a reply saying: sorry your request could not be applied, please try again later or call 150. i tried again and called 150 but it doesnt say anything about blackberry mail,

can anyone help me?

You need to call the carrier and have then add and activate a BB data plan on your account. That will give you access to all RIM related services including email and BBM.

Much easier to call them than try to do it without knowing what you are doing.
