Now that I have the 8800, I might just have to invest in this...

Default Very Happy with case

Got my hard rubber case and have been very happy with it. It works well with the standard blackberry holster as well. Helps hold the screen protector in place as well.

To Seidio: With all the press releases regarding the VZW 8830, one article mentioned that the 8830 is a fraction taller than the 8800. However, when comparing the devices on Blackberry's site, the dimensions are identical. I would appreciate if you guys looked into this and/or contacted RIM directly to confirm. Lot's of CDMA users waiting for the device and potential business for you guys. Thanks...

You absolutely should. In my opinion, this is the best case out there. Especially when combines with the skinned holster.

I got one the other day. It goes in the case okay but the magnetic flap doesn't catch properly.

I believe that this has been asked already, but for clarification I am asking again. Can this be used with the holster that ships with the Blackberry? This would be my (and I think others) preferred method of using this.

Yes it can be used with the OEM holster, but the magnet flap doesn't hold as good. However, I can confirm that it fits.

I think you'd find that the Seidio holster is a better match though.

The Rubberized case and holster combo - does it put the Blackberry to sleep like the factory holster?

Just got my rubberized holster and case yesterday - Had doubts before - I tend to like leather. Man, this was great. It works wonderfully and looks awesome. Thanks for the heads up!

In 3 weeks of use: removing the skinned 8800 from the holster knocked off the "a" key, and two days later the clip broke off the holster. I am NOT happy. An e-mail to SEIDIO yesterday has not been answered so far.
