Default AT&T Desktop Manager Version?

Please Login to Remove!

I pretty much have never messed with my Desktop Manager, and am now at 4.3 with AT&T. I need to get this installed at work to sync to my work PC and the IT dude is asking me which version. I made a very frustrating phone call to AT&T to find out the latest level they support and got pretty much an "I dunno." I finally found under AT&T that they support 4.6.

I search but couldn't find anywhere here the latest level that AT&T supports, but will 4.7 work and be supported? I just need to make sure that my DTM at home and at work are the same.

Thanks.

Yes, DM4.7 is the latest version and ATT supports it... if you ever need to call them for support. I wouldn't. I'd ask right here.

D'OH!!!

You're stating what is now the obvious here. They're dumber than I am.

Thanks!

P.S. Is there a sticky thread here or in the FAQ somewhere about the supported levels of DTM?

Why would it matter what level of Blackberry Desktop manager that is supported by the carrier? I think you have now learned that you aren't going to get much support no matter what version you are using. You will always be fine if you use the latest version.

I would give you the links, but this site will not allow me to post them.

Latest version (currently 4.7) is always available at
na dot blackberry dot com slash eng slash services slash desktop
As far as I am aware, at&t only supports up to 4.6 of Desktop Manager:

Because I am now going to have this supported by a company IT department and I don't necessarily want to pi** them off right off the bat by running something above what's supported by AT&T. They've already asked me which version is supported. That's why.

Send them to the website I mentioned, and you will be done.
