He never said he invented the internet, he said as Dallas sees that he said he helped pass an initiative to help fund the research to invent it. If you cannot see the difference between inventing it or funding someone to do it then read it again.
he was wrong, no issue there but he never claimed to have invented the internet. old news that was covered years ago and I guess you missed it back then as well as now.
