dumb for anyone but even dumber for a guy who has preached family values & has repeatedly come down hard on any politician who cheated on a spouse.

And I actually voted for him when he first ran for Gov. I did not know all of his social stances.

My issue is abandonment of job.

He did leave and his staff he was going hiking. If that were the case would it still be abandonment? I think everyone is due a few days of R&R but the lying to his staff and the State is no excusable.

The hypocrisy of him being an adulterer is just funny to me.

He is a liar and an adulterer, and obviously at this point, has proven he is untrustworthy.

He might mend his marriage and family, and personally I hope he does. But the voters of SC (and the nation, since he was toying with running for President in 2012) don't have to stand for his lack of integrity).

Yes, he has a lack of integrity, AND, he got caught. Good for him.

Compared to other politicians, he still has a lack. You can't indict the whole group for the several who are dishonest, no more than I could say all the PhDs are whacky because of a few who might be.
