Question Personal Emails Showing Up Under Messages Folder

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry 8330 for work. I receive my work emails via a BES. They show up under my Messages folder.

I added my personal AT&T/Yahoo email account to my phone. It created a Yahoo icon and my personal emails show up under that folder, but they also show up under the Messages folder as well, which I don't want.

I would like to view ONLY my work email under the Messages folder and my personal email under the Yahoo folder. Can this be done, similar to how you seperate your emails and SMS messges in your Messages folder? Thanks.

The Messages folder is the repository for ALL email messages. You can't change this.

If you want to separate BES messages from BIS messages, then you will need to look into a third party application such as Empower BES Mailbox.

You might should read this from our FAQ. Many of us do not recommend mixing personal and company info on a BB connected to BES, especially if the company is paying the bills.

Certain version of BES also support a BES mail icon but that's a setting that affects all users on the BES server (either everyone has the icon or no one has it).
