Default PDF viewer?

Does the Roger's branded 8900 not come with a PDF viewer?

In the applications folder I see apps for DOC, XLS and PPT, but not PDF. When I go explore through file browser directly to the PDF file, my BB tells me it can't open it. I know the PDF file works on my laptop...it's some sketches I scanned in that I wanted to take with me.

If it is not there, can people recommend a (preferrably free) PDF application?

If you purchase the premium version of Documents To Go you will get a .pdf viewer. It's not free, but it's the best .pdf viewer I've seen for the BB.

Hmm...$70 from their website. Seems like a lot. I'll have to think about it.

I'm simply amazed that a PDF reader wasn't provided.

I just downloaded the BeamReader beta. It opens my file, but as it is a scan of some sketches, they seem to come out very poorly.

Mine also from Rogers. It does not come with separate PDF program (icon), but somehow I can view and zoom in (several steps) PDF file fine. Just highlight the Attachment, and choose either view attachment or download. It works wonderfully.

That's an email attachment. Much different. With PDF To Go I can view pdf's that are stored on my media card.

Some poster at other forum suggested to self-email the file and open it via attachment option. Just a way to get around it, but I never tried it.
