My old case broke and I'm looking for a skin, preferably black not white, for my trusty 8700g. Seidio has been showing a "new" black one for weeks but out of stock and I get the runaround when I call or email them (they used to be so reliable and responsive, oh well). Anyone know of an alternative? Thanks.

Many of the vendors here have the basic OEM BlackBerry black rubberized skin. Very nice, inexpensive and protective.

That's what I would have thought but no-one seems to have it for the 8700, only the Curve. Obviously I must be looking in the wrong places - could you post names please? Thanks.
