Question BES Admin impersonates BB user when connecting to application

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

My company develops a BlackBerry application that connects to a webservice. We know about developing for BlackBerry, but are still learning a lot about BES

At the moment I'm running into the situation where I have 3 users connecting to our webservice using a BES connection. For 1 users it works fine, it connects to our webservice with his own credentials (entered in our BlackBerry application).

However, for 2 other users, the credentials used are not his own, but rather we see in the IIS logs that the credentials of the BES admin are used.

So it looks like the BES uses impersonation for some users and not for others.

Do you have any idea where I can set this information in the BES administration tool?

We are using BES 5.0.1 (Bundle 70).

Any help is much appreciated,
Jeffry

Have the same IT policies been assigned to all the users? It sounds like one user has the correct policy, while the other two were put into the Administrator group policy.

Ok, I checked it and all users are in the same IT policy.

Where can I find the setting that says that Impersonation is used. Is there such a setting at all?

Even when a user is in the Administrator group policy, it sounds strange to me that it then automatically uses the besadmin user to authenticate to other applications, so I would expect there must be a setting to configure this.
