mdavis71,

I was trying the trial version. Does it make a difference? I would hate to buy it and it not work.

Default Verichat

im using the trial version. i think the trial is for 2 weeks. mine expires on the 29th good thing i found this out so i won't waste money getting it. you would think the cingular tech support would say that. damn those people are useless. spent over an hour on the phone with them telling me to "power on power off", like it was a damn chorus.

Anyone have a free full version? I don't mean to sound like a prick, but $34.95 for the program is a bit high to me considering i'll hardly use it. I just think its really convenient and i'm really digging the trial.

I just read that they are coming out with a version of verichat that does not require a BES. hopefully sooner than later. let us enjoy the party some.

poty,

That's AWESOME. I am totally interested in that when it comes out. Did they have any time frame when it would be out? Please let me know or a link to the article would be great. Thanks!

Default Connection update

I sent an email to PdaApps explaining the connecting issues I was having with the 1.96b version and they sent me the new 2.31b version via email. It seems to be staying connected much better now and the new features are pretty nifty.

The ones I got from elsewhere in this thread had problems of not installing, then not working and then not connecting. This one works fine. Perhaps there are minor tweaks for Cingular customers?

Does the new Verichat let you see which of your buddies is "away" or idle?

Follow-up to my e-mail above....after I changed the TCP to wap.voicestream.com, everything started working flawless....The Verichat...the BBtoday weather and ticker updates....I have a 7100t with T-Mobile Unlimited Plan.
By the way...Verichat is a great piece of app...simple and easy to use..(that is if you are able to figure out all your settings to work...but expensive.. $34 something for the app alone...with a $29.99 yearly subscription....After the trial runs out...I am not buying it!!
