Default HTML Email Messages on Domino BES & 32 or 64 bit?

Please Login to Remove!

I've upgraded my BES to 4.1.6MR1 and Domino 7.0.3MR1.

I have 4.5 software on a handful of BBs, belonging mainly to IT folks for testing. HTML/rich-content/inline images enabled on BES. So far not too much additional load on BES.

I have just read this doc http://na.blackberry.com/eng/deliver..._text_BESD.pdf and was wondering whether anyone else had experienced any memory issues with a 32 bit BES? Did you upgrade to 64 bit, or are you already running 64 bit Domino/BES?

I'm just trying to get a measure of what other Domino BES Admins do, before I roll out 4.5 handheld OS...

Running 32-bit here with Domino 8.0.1 and BES 4.1.6MR1 for three or four weeks now. Only a handful of users on handheld OS4.5, and so far I haven't seen any memory issues. I have seen some issues applying 4.5 to handhelds, so I'm not forcing a rollout on that yet, it's only available if the user asks for it and understands the consequences of installing (as in little to no support if the BB breaks).

BTW (and off-topic) - I'll be going to Domino 8.0.2 shortly to get iNotes UltraLite ready because I know the CEO will want to use his iPhone with Domino....

Oh, let me know how that goes! Am way behind with Domino, still on a mix of R6.5 and R7!

Will do - we're in lockdown for a few weeks while we move the office, but I should be rolling on it by the holidays.
