I am a brand new member. First post.

I have a Blackberry 7750 that is 15 months old. Warranty is expired. The unit is in Canada on the Sasktel Network. The issue is that the entire top 2 rows of keys are inoperable. The Q row and the A row. The bottom 2 rows work fine. I called my dealer for service but they said that RIM is not even fixing these units and that they will send out a refurbed unit for the price of retail.

Is there anyplace that repairs these units in Canada? If not Canada, the US?

Appreciate any assistance.

Why do you want to repair this unit rather than replace it? Sasktel has 7250 units available for a decent price and they are quite a bit quicker than the 7750 model. You can try Promobility they will repair most Blackberry devices and are in Canada. I have a used one if you are interested. PM me if you want.

Wayne, Thanks for the tip. I took your advice on both aspects. Picked up a 7250 and sent off the 7750 to Promobility. The price on the 7250 is good when there is a hardware credit.

I'm bummed that there is no 8700 for CDMA yet. That unit looks sweet.
