Are either of these possible. I'm getting all the spam mails that my computer filters out for me on my blackberry? Is there any filtering possible on my 8120? Also is there a free html email client available

You can set up filters from your BIS webpage for your email account. I have never used this so I am not sure how effective it is.

There are no free html email applications but there is Empower standard version for £5 ($10)

It is worth bearing in mind that html email will be available when the BIS servers are upgraded to 2.5 and you have the 4.5 OS on your device.
