Default Using switch device wizard--2 usb cables or 1?

Please Login to Remove!

Getting a replacement phone in the mail today, and would like to use the switch device wizard. Do I plug my current phone and the replacement phone in via two different usb ports at the same time? Or do I plug my current phone in, and then when prompted, unplug my current phone, and plug the replacement phone in? Thanks

Plug the old device in and start the wizard, it will prompt you when you need to connect the new device.

Great, thank you!

Quick follow ups that I just thought of:
1) Do I register the new device on the network before beginning the switch device process?
2) Will running the swtich device wizard automatically associate the new device with my BIS account, or do I need to do something manually to begin receiving e-mails on the new device?

Log into your BIS account and switch devices there.
