Anyone know how to change the "My Number" display?

I re-assigned a Blackberry with a different number, and it still displays the old number.

I have tried calling the device to get it to recognise the new number but no luck.

I had the same problem.

Step 1 backup the device via desktop manager

disconnect from PC

step 2 wipe the handheld. options>security options> general settings>click trackwheel>select wipe handheld> enter blackberry as password.

connect to PC

Step 3 restore handheld via desktop manager.

Done

Before doing that, I'd recommend trying a couple of less drastic things:

- Call your BB from another phone and leave yourself and 'urgent' voicemail (leave message, press # then 5 then #). Then call and check the voicemail.

- Remove/reinsert the battery to perform a hard reboot
