thanks, this should end public folders issues and multiple contacts folders.
Enhanced activation troubleshooting sounds nice too, wonder if you will need t support for it.

Thanks Skyman!
I've been looking around for BES 5 info and haven't seen this before.
Where did you find it?

Can't wait to take the BES 5 training @ WES.

Enhanced EA Diagnostics and Remote File Explorer (wtf? just throw the lappie away!)!, nice. But just more stuff to make me coz I can't see the budget being there this year (although Voda don't expect to support 5.0 this year anyway!).

I'm just waiting for the device o/s's to start springing up!

I'd have thought Vodafone wouldn't care on the BES version?

Mate Voda only just started supporting MR3, they take ages to test new releases! Yeah I want the latest OS for my storm but Voda are lagging as per usual. I can't be on an unsupported OS so I have to sit and wait, ho hum....

Well I could but I can't afford to have a device issue and need to manually rebeuild the BB, as sod's law would make it happen the day something global happened and I could be BB-less

If you don't care about being supported by Voda, there is bound to be a foreign multi-lang update in the device forum.

It's also found here: FAQ: Comparing BES 5.0 With Previous Versions | BerryReview.com »

Although the images aren't much better.

I think the quality is slightly better (so's the size, of course!) but I didn't bother to stitch it together all sexy like, like mindware did (looks nice mate!)

I attended an BES admin seminar yesterday at Sprint, hosted by Tim Forkner, where we discussed v5.0 for a while.

Big new features that immediately hit me:
1. Web interface
2. If you currently use Neverfail, you won't really need it anymore.
3. Cusom admins for custom groups so that you can divide your users and assign admins to just those users.
4. Painless movement of users from one BES to another in a multi BES environment.

I'm waiting for more information to come in shortly. Unfortunately, in order to fully utilize all 5.0 features, the new 5.0 client OS will need to be installed.
