Question Bb 7520

Please Login to Remove!

Just ordered a BB 7520, but am hearing negative feedback from current users. Biggest issue is the phone - poor quality, so much so people are using a "regular" cell phone in addition to the BB.

Please advise.

To each his/her own, best way to find out is to take it for a test drive. Traditional BB are strong on email first then phone but the current generation have come far. What works for one person my be awful for another and every carrier has their plus and minus each is stong in some areas compared to others no muatter which you choose. Like they say you never no unless you try

Would you say the phone quality is equal to a typical cell phone?

It all depends on where you live. I live and work in NYC, and I find the phone on the 7520 better than my i730(now my wifes).

I love mine and if you read these forums you will see that most who are using the 7520 love it. The only ones I see bad mouthing it are on other carriers and going by what they hear second hand. So like someone above me said take one for a test drive and determine for yourself.

I just got my BB 7520 and I must say this thing blows away all my past iDEN Moto's so far - in service, functions and capabilities. I get full service/full bars in places where my i90/730/860 would scream "No Service" - like at my work's basement and in my friend's room. I'm extremely happy with this phone. I'm very glad I didn't give in and got a sidekick like all my other friends.

I agree, this is my second BB from Nextel. I have no serious complaints. I also enjoy the available software for the 7520 as well as BlueTooth. Overall this is the most feature rich BB on the market.

I also added Telenav. It works very good and it is portable. So no matter what car you are in, or if you are walking in NYC it can get you there.

I have had no problem with my 7520. When i first got it was suspect, i did not like having that big thing on my hip. after the T-mobile sdk kick kept having drama, I decided to step up my hip game. If feels so good to have one device that does it all. My hip is alot lighter, no issue of system being down about once a week etc...

I have had no phone issue, paired up my bluetooth.....Love it

It's truly a " GROWN MAN GADGET"

I've found, in the first 24 hours, the 7520 to be superior to my old i730 in every aspect. Primarily reception and signal strength. For what it's worth!!
