2 Devices - What Is Wrong With Me

I am very late to the blackberry universe and traditional in my ways. Up until April 2008, through VZW, I had a cell phone an an air car for my Dell notebook PC. In late April 2008, I perhaps foolishly started a new 2-year contract with two devices: a Blackberry 8703e (to, in a way, replace the air card) and an LG VX8700 phone. Being new to BB, I liked the larger, late model, side-wheel driven 8703e, with the big clear screen (bad eyesight). I opted for it over the newer device. I set myself up this way because I had hoped to do side work and keep the 8703e, which has a voice package and a phone number, for business. And the LG phone has the camera and sound features missing on the 8703e. Now I am fumbling between the two devices. My thinking was that I might might tether the 8703e while on the road, and have the phone to toss in my pocket. This combo is driving me nuts -- and I am paying for it with the double cost. Did I truly screw up? Do you recommend I just get the smaller, newer bb today and just cancel my contracts (and get on with my life)? No employer is paying for one device. It is all out of my wallet. Please give me some advice. Thanks.
