I had this happen to me a few weeks ago on my 7100g. Turned out to be a phone call - not a message. And it had scrolled off the list so it couldn't be looked at. Weird. I went into settings and told it to not show phone calls in the messages list. No problems since then. You might try same.

guess you didnt read i solved the issue huh

Have you tried to press * in the message field and see if it will jump to the unopened message?
Or have you looked in your saved messages?
