Default SO, how much is the Bold 9700?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm going to be buying the Bold 2 without a contract this weekend on att. I see all these posts about awesome deals and I just want to know how much it is?
I live in NY (not in NYC, but not far), and that's where all these bargains seem to be happing. Have those been proven fake?

Let me know please.

(btw, sorry for another thread.)

Paid $449.99 for mine. Wasn't a big deal for me. I sold my iPhone 3gs for more than that, so I had change to spare. A friend of mine said that he got his for $400 though. But I couldn't verify 100%.

I actually called one of the stores in NJ (check the other threads for the phone number and other details), and they verified that, at least at the time, the Bold 2 was $49 after rebate as a contracted price. So yes, it's true. However, I have no idea if this is still going on or not, and I have no idea what the non-contract price would be.

Worth a phone call, I would think, so you can verify for yourself.

Paid $449 on T-Mobile at a corporate store in CT with no contract extension. I think the T-Mo price dropped $50 - at least their web site seems to reflect $399 as the no contract price.

I bought mine outright from T-Mo for $450. I found out yesterday that the U of M has $40 off list price + an extra $210 if you do a contract. I'm off to the T-Mobile store to see if I can at least get a bill credit for $40.

Paid $100 in store on Friday for a contract extension on a secondary line in a family plan with AT&T. $100 rebate makes it $0 in the end.

right now its 49.99 after 100 mail in rebate. so you pay 150 at the desk but @ the att store you could ask the salesman to give you the accessories package using the rebate money. of course thats a personal choice but in that way you dont have to wait a month or more... for the visa card to get there lol. im in the NYC area btw.

How is it going from the iPhone 3Gs to the Bold 9700. I am considering the same move.

I will purchase an iPod touch as well

Part of me misses having a 3GS all the time. The blackberry is great for messaging and general ease of use, but I miss the apps, the touch interface and the web browsing.
