I got up this morning and my touchscreen and button would not work.

Last night I had drained the power completely and when I got home I plugged it in to charge on my computer with the usb cable. It was working fine then. It charged up to about 1 bar and then I shut off the computer. This morning I wake up and it is completely dead so I turn the computer back on again and power it up and it comes on but the touchscreen and button doesn't work. I tried pulling the battery with no luck. Any other idea's or has anyone had a similar problem?

I would try a few more battery pulls first if it is charged completely.

I had pulled it apart and reseated the connections to the motherboard and that did it. I think when it fell last night it must have knocked them loose a little.

U took it apart?...ur brave..how did it go?

Mine did the same thing. I took the battery out and put it back in like 6 times and nothing changed. So I took it to Verizon and they had to send me a new one.

Um..dont charge it with your computer. Use the wall adaptor.
