Default blackberry case recommendations?

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking into getting a case for my blackberry pearl, preferably something that can latch onto my belt. I do realize that the pearl is supposed to be small enough to fit into you pocket, but I've had bad experiences with cracking the screens of my old phones. anyway can anyone recommend a carrying case?

thanks jo

RIM makes a very nice leather case, Seidio makes cases and holsters. Also look at Fortte.

The BB case I have is cool, it will put your phone into a stand by mode. It also will attach to your belt.

It depends on what you need the case to do. My situation is that I am in the field quire often, so I need a case that is durable and will not come off my belt no matter what position I cortort my body. I lost a cell phone using a quick release belt clip/case. I also had another phone pop of my belt, hit my foot and slide about 30 feet down an airport terminal. Fortunately another person made a great kick save and returned my phone. That was an OEM belt clip for a flip phone. (Sorry for the rant)

So from experience, one case brand with a clip that won't slide off a belt is Nite Ize. They have a BB case with a sleeper magnet, but that is sized for the older 7xxx series and 88xx or 83xx series (qwerty modles). The pearl fits nicely into their leather case. The case also has an expandable pocket in the back that should hold a magnet nicely to activate the sleeper.

I am using the Krusell leather case. Click here to see the case. I find it works very well and these cases are generally very durable as I have used these for years with various phones.
