Hi everyone...new here and I already have a problem!!

I trying upgrading to the new OS system and encountered an error.

Now my BB says App Error 523

I read all the threads about wiping my BB clean with Jl_Cmdr but my phone wont even connect to my desktop manager to do this.

Any suggestions on how to get my BB to sync to my desktop manager when the only message on my screen is "app error 523"

Have you checked the connection settings on your desktop manager?

yes...I am currently trying to update my desktop manager to see if that works.

I had the same problem last night, just had to go into Connection Settings and tell it what port to look for the bb in.

Tried that....I have a feeling it has something to do with this error message but I'm clueless!!!!
