Default Skin case 4 8100?

Please Login to Remove!

This may be too early to ask but I wonder if there's any plans to make a skin case for the 8100?

I am talking about the rubber type case NOT sticker type that you stick on the phone.

Most likely I will end up getting 8100 after it is out for a week or two but I don't want to end up damaging it since I am kind of rough on my things so I want to protect it.

Yah, there are a few colors available. Go to shopblackberry dot com, and look at the accessories list for the 8100. Green, white, orange, blue, magenta.

I just checked it out and they won't be available until the 20th. By the time it hits Cingular there should be plenty to choose from.

What about the Lambskin Leather case? Its on blackberrypearl.com but not that shop that shows all the skins. Does it come with the 8100 or do we have to get it somewhere else?

I think I'm going to order it too, even though I'm still waiting for my phone to get here from Tmo

Nice! Thanks for the tip/link. I just ordered the full body skin for my Pearl and a 3-piece skin for my Nano. Never heard of this company before but for 6 bucks a skin, ya can't beat that!

Wirelessly posted (BB 7290: BlackBerry7290/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I couldn't resist the price, I ordered the full wrap. I hope to get it by the time the phone gets here. The way things are going it may get here before the phone.

Yep, far better than anything out there. It costs a pretty penny, $24.95 and S&H. Lifetime warrenty, and you can key the thing with no scratches whatsoever. Other skins would simply tear apart.

Bestskinsever.com uses the exact same material as shield zone but just doesn't have the lifetime guarantee, but if the stuff is as tough as they say you shouldn't need to replace it. I just applied my skin yesterday and its great. I will post pictures later.

The official RIM website, shopblackberry.com shows the skins in their store, but now says the release date is Oct. 12th! They keep pushing back the date.
