Default Air bubble under my screen!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey there,

i've had my bold for like 3 days until I noticed two small air bubbles under the screen glas.

It looks like the gap between screen and glas is filled with oil and the bubble is flatt on top (pressing against the screen) and round on the downside.

I thought those screens were actually glued together, such thing should and could not happen?

p.s. Sorry I can't take pictures, the bubble is really small and I do not have anything like macro lenses...

Sounds like a production issue...perhaps the screens didn't get properly secured on your partuclar device...

At any rate, talk to your carrier about replacement options-if you have only had it for three days there should be something they can do for you.

Default An idea

I had this exact problem.

Turns out there was a plastic screen cover on the Bold when it shipped. It peels off, and there's the problem gone.

In retrospect, I wish I had left it there as a screen protector.
