What a wonderful program! I installed it, put in my UN's and PW's, logged in and it's working without a hitch!

I need to read some of this forum to spin up but this is a winner!

Good question...supposedly they were, but I haven't received replies to either PMs or e-mails.

Too bad, I'd gladly buy software if it suits my needs, but I give up on these people.

Guess I'm just gonna go with the google talk / jabber workaround.

I must jump in too and say that I have helped in many many beta test in the past couple of years for Blackberry and kyububba and his crew have been the most helpful and most responsive of all.

This really is a great program. I give much props to the developers.

I do have a question though. Is there a way to set an alert for when people log on or off?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Pearl: BlackBerry8100/4.2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I'm loving jivetalk, so far it's been working perfectly... I've been signed into aim, msn, yahoo and google talk with no problems whatsoever... Great app!

I wouldn't give up. I am very sure they are busy. Waiting a little longer is worth it.

I've been wondering why the free Yahoo and GTalk messengers take up so little resources compared to the paid programs. I have yet to get jive talk to work and have purchased Yak-On for its stability but the battery is still sucked up.
Perhaps some communication with those developers is in order.

YOu should pick whichever works for you.

I always receive good response from JiveTalk. Again, I would not count on one very few people who don't receive promotly response. At lease, majority of us are very happy with the software and the support we've received.

hey guys

have you attempted to send messages to mobile phones via AIM? i know they appear as offline, but i was told that they should receive the messages anyway. As of now, they haven't. The same buddylist works flawlessly when sending msgs to mobile phones on verichat.

Any suggestions?

What version are you using as version 5.21 shows AIM as being on mobile not offline like you said and the IM's work just fine. Sounds like you need to update.

To GSC above, the paid programs support multiple providers and not just one so they are larger. I think they also poll the servers more if your using more than one service. Some allow you to adjust this but the downside is your not notified of any IM's or status changes right away usually. When I used IM+ I set it for every 2 minutes during the day and every 5 minutes in the evenings when I do less IMing. I also use the on/off timer on my Pearl to turn my phone off at night and on in the monring. This saves battery life a lot.

To people that didnt get notified about the Beta try emailing
[email address] again. Seems the Beta was closed a little bit ago and reopened during the last week.
