Default Installed Yahoo Go 3.0 on phone and it's sucking up memory

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, so I've got the 8100 Pearl with OS 4.5.0.102, and installed Yahoo Go 3.0 on it. After installing it, I probably still had about 13 MB of File Free, when I checked under Options->Status. I've probably got about 3000 emails in the phone.

It's been a few days since I installed it, and out of curiousity, went to check the File Free size, and it was only 5 MB. I got worried that I might have that memory leak problem, which I've never experience before (for 2 years I've had over 10 MB whenever I've checked it).

I was going to uninstall the program out of precaution, but first thought to just do a battery pull. I checked after it, and now I have 14 MB of File Free again.

What gives?

Is this program too space intensive and not designed for the Pearl 8100?

Do I have some sort of memory problem?

What to do?

EDIT: I checked it again now that I've finished typing this post, and see it's down to 13.3 MB already!

1. Why did you uninstall yours? Memory problems like me or what?

2. Thx 4 tip. What does this memory clean function do? I know nothing about it and don't have the manual with me.

WTF?! I just checked now (8 hours has maybe passed since the battery pull) and its down to 12 MB's. What is going on?

And then 2 minutes after checking when I checked again, its now down to 11 MB!!!

Help!

The problem with some program is that after they are running they don't release the memory they use correctly. I personally have never used Yahoo Go so I can't be positive.

As for the Memory Cleaner, that's not for freeing up the memory.

This morning its down to 10 MB. And I haven't even used the program since last checking File Free. I think I'll just remove it.

Took Yahoo Go! off my pearl, was just sucking memory and never really used it anyhow, other apps can give you better quality services Yahpoo has to offer. When I removed it my phone acted like a phone instead of Windows computer, lol.
