The CEO's has delegated his calender to his secretary. They both have blackberries. The Secretary uses the Desktop manager to tie in his calender with her calender on her blackberry. (I didn't know this could be done) --The Desktop Manager settings are under:

Syncronize > Configuration > Configure Sync > Calender > Choose > Microsoft Outlook > Browse > CEO's Calender.

I am new at this company and the recent IT department set this up for him and her. I don't think this is a great way to set this up, I can only see problems with it.

Anyways, She needs his calender on her blackberry so she ran the sync and it wiped out his older stuff in his calender. Only new items are there.

Is there a better way to set this up so it never happens again?

Ok I ran a restore on the CEO's calender.

i figured out a way... I gave her delegate permisions to see private...she copies his calender down to a pst on her machine...now having blackberry desktop manager to pull from pst..rather than directly to his calender, works like a charm.
