I'd like to know if you prefer to use the integrated BB phone or do you use a separate phone for your voice needs? If there is a "why" to your decision, don't be shy to share with the rest of us.

Honestly, when i first got my 7510 i thought it was going to be too big to tote around. I do miss the small size of a voice only phone but when i think about what i have, it all makes sense.

I don't like the feel of the 7230 as a phone, although when the 7100t ships, I'll be replacing the whole kit-and-caboodle

It took me about a week or so to get use to the form factor but now I don't even realize or think twice as it's simplified things with integrating everything into one.

Same here, took a little bit of getting used to, but now it's just too easy to have it all in one unit and not have to have other devices on my hip. Also the speakerphone on the 7510 works great and comes in quite handy if you need to talk to someone in an office with other people in it.

I did use it as both, then I stoped, then I did again, now I don't. As much as I use the BB for data it was tough reading an email or replying to a time sensitive email, just to get interupted by a phone call. So now I use my V600 again and my BB 7280

7230 all the way. That is why I got the thing, wanted to have everything in one place. Although I have fought being a geek for a long time, carrying around so many devices only perpetuates the whole thing. Awesome portal!!!!

I had a Motorola flip phone that fit in my pocket, got great service everywhere and was probably the best phone I've ever had (for just a phone). I got my BB through work and was very doubtful if I would like it. I have never been a "head-set" person, but I bought a good one to go with my BB and dont think too much about it now. The extras that the BB provide more than make up for the fact that it's bigger my than the calculator on my desk.

I used a 7510 and felt funny at first, then it was no problem. Its uses far surpassed the calc to the head thing...I must not have minded since I finally bought one.

I use my 7230 for data only. Have a V60 and the company picks up the tab for that. I tried the fully converged thing with the Kyocera 7135 and didn't like it. Couldn't get e-mail and a phone call at the same time. It was very frustrating. Not sure if its the same for the BB or not, since I have never used the BB as a phone.

I get email fine when I'm using the phone... blackberry is always on, so the network it gets email on is different from that you talk on.

I have a few 7135's and they all blow for remote email. The whole dialup deal really gets to me.

I have a seperate phone because Verizon is the best wireless in the NYC area. BUT they have the worst blackberry plan so I went with T-Mobile and carry each device.

Besides I like my small flip phone and I carry that all the time and my RIM when I am working.
