i have pictures and i cant see them all open in the folder.what can i do to fix this?

You probably need to clarify.



How are you trying to see the pictures? Are you using the media app to view pictures? Or are you exploring in folders and can't find the pictures? Or some other problem finding or opening the image files?

Hey... I has a similar problem. I have nothing installed on my 8900,its new,and I use only the applications BB comes with . I had no problem taking pictures and viewing them but a few days ago, i stopped being able to view my pics.
I can see them in my media(as small pictures),but when I try to view them all I see is a black screen. I have no idea what went wrong,or if i pressed anything.....
any help ?

i was having the same problem on my 8900. when i go to view pictures, it comes up as a black screen. anyone have a solution?

I don't have a solution off hand, but what have you done to troubleshoot?

Step by step, what do you do, and at what point do you get the black screen?

Are the files in main memory or on a microSD card?

If on a microSD card, have you tried accessing the card on a computer? And if so, are you able to navigate to the files and open them?

I have 9700 and just this week same problem, can see pics in contact sheet but cannot open or even open properties...any help?

Aside from problems with the media card, it seems sometimes the .dat files get corrupted. Try a hard reset first. With the power on, remove the battery for 30-60 seconds, then try again. If you have still have trouble, read the media card with a computer and delete all .dat files. There could be many of them, so search and delete all of them. If you have encryption enabled, you may see .dat.rem files. Delete those, too.

The device will rescan the card and recreate those files, so don't worry.

Do that and see what you got.
