Default BES activation not working on Fido

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I've read around that BES is now working at Fido, that's a good news. However I am unable to make it work on a new device. I've contacted Fido and of course they told me it's supposed to work but the don't support. I'm pretty sure if need specific plan. I have a 25$/500m plan for a while now since my last phone was a blackberry (only used BIS). Since Fido support BES , I want to hook it up on my server. Anyone have info ?

I think the CSR mis heard you, Fido only has BIS. They have NEVER offered BES connections, they are a "consumer company, not business like Rogers". That's why Rogers bought them out, they wanted consumer business.

I doubt they will ever offer BES.

From Fido Blackberry FAQ on BES (check 3rd to last question/answer):
