Looks like Sprint isn't as cheap as Verizon is. Too bad they have other negatives.

Here's another good one. Did you know that Verizon actually wrote up a document stating that the OEM 8830 holster you get from them has NO WARRANTY on it. How sad is that? They're so cheap and restrictive, they won't give you a damn replacement holster if that one breaks. Fraking lame.

All the carriers have their negatives.

The ATT 8820 came with a full leather holster with swivel clip. It also came with full bars of reception in my officee and home! Did not have to go outside to make and receive calls like I did with T-Mo and Verizon! <vbg>

A week after I got my 8830 the plastic clip broke on my holster. I called a couple Sprint stores and they said that I had to but a new one, with an attitude. When I told one person that it was defective he said that it was not, it was broken!
I finally had to call our corporate contact at Sprint & complain. He had to call a regional manager for the stores and arranged for a new holster. When I picked it up the kid at the store tried telling me that they do not support Blackberry accessories. So, I said, if I bought a holster here and it broke you wouldn't replace it you'd try to sell me a new one? Well no sir, we'd replace it, so what is the difference? He couldn't answer that.

I have learned and noticed this many times in the past.

Does this mean that he can comment unanswered?

I think not.

I seldom comment about one carrier over another but when I see it, I sometimes get caught up in the fury.

It goes with out saying that AT&T RULES! <vbg>

I believe that GPS also works on the Sprint 8830 and not on the Verizon one. Can't BELIEVE that one was left out.

The quality of the Verizon bashing has certainly decreased.

Heh heh heh.

wow , how the threads change from sarcasm to bashing companies and still no answer to the simple thread question. no worries. I did a google search and found my answers on a review of the 8830.
