we are looking to upgrade to BES 5.0 and we want to use the HA feature with DB mirroring using SQL 2005 across our WAN between data centers.

Is anyone currently doing this?
If so
For how many device?
What is your database size?
What is your WAN link size?
Are you using any type of QOS across the WAN?
If so how much bandwidth?
Is it dedicated to the mirroring DB only?

I dont think DB mirroring over WAN is recommended? But need to confirm

Per Microsoft it can be done you just have to watch the latency.

A couple of customers has HA setup between PROD and DR sites seperated by WAN link. Ideally you would want them to be as close as possible but I think as long as the link is fast, should be no problem.
