i have recently bought a 8520 curve but my phone doesnt have the korean language inside. and i've tried putting the korean alx and the cod inside but my shared in motion folder doesnt have an application loader. my phone's version is a 4.6? so what should i do? downgrade my phone to a 4.5 and put the cods and alx in it or should i download the 4.5 multlanguage or the 4.5 eastasian version?

I followed all of the steps in this thread and am running the latest OS. I still cannot input Korean characters. I have it installed through the Loader, but it will not show up as an option in the Options-->Language-->Input Language section.

What am I doing wrong?

just wanted to make an observation. while i am now able to input and read korean font, whenever i receive SMS text from my friends in korea (using SK Telecom) they come in as jumbled symbols. however, they are able to read my korean SMS text.

perhaps there is a compatibility issue between the 2 networks.

HOW TO INSTALL THE FONTS

* FIRST download the 4 files in previous reply... (delete the .doc)

JUST CREATE ONE

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8800-v4.5.0.124_p.2.7.0.92"
3) C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe

It seems the problem with adding Korean language is solved.
Could anybody help me to add LATVIAN language to my 8820?
I need only writing (reading is allready possible with "English").
Probably a new COD and ALX files are needed.
Are any instructions/software available for creating COD files?

Thanks!!!
