The camera is in the front yes?
I read all the posts. Did anyone think of the video phone possibilities? This is amazing. Not necessarily needed, but amazing.

Hey Noeffectx... the term "fruit" isn't politically correct in this day and age.

Anyone know if a similar-featured (but non suretype) model is in development?

MobileRC asked what blackberry was, with 270+ postings on this forum, i'm sure MobileRC was joking about what blackberry was and so am I

Question

alright so the 7100 then came 8700.. now comes the 8100.. does that mean it is a step below the 8700?

anyone know the processor speed and all that extra good stuff?

why are they going down in series numbers now istead of up like 9100 for example?

im guessing that 8100 might be a little slower due to all that extra meida capabilities added on. hope it doenst freeze up like the treos or WM5 based cells.

I'm sorry Kwang, but with a statement like that, I have to ask. Have you ever owned a Blackberry?

The 8100 is in the same lineup as the 7100 (Suretype Lineup) it's the next thing in that lineup, which would naturally make the device which follows the 7100 an 8100.

The 8700 is in the QWERTY lineup, and hence the appearance of a "backslide"

Same thing when the 7100 came out, there was already a 7290 and 7280, which were older models, and clearly the 7100 was faster and more improved than those two devices.

Make sense?

Kwang, your posts, do indeed, mention you have a 8890. That does not mean you might not previously owned a BB. However, from your questions/comments, we should assume you have not.
