Follow these instructions and upgrade going through those steps.
(1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.")
EDIT: You would need to get a hold of a PC to upgrade through my steps, as I forgot you were working off of a mac! (Unless you're are able to crossover to a PC off you're mac (like Midnightdraven mention) it wont recognize the .exe through the link I just gave you.) My apologies. |
There is the current version link and some instructions to follow you need a PC, and to follow those instructions to fix the problem.
