How disappointing.

yes, the 8900 will work... same frequencies for 2g, but not for 3g, but since the 8900 isnt a 3g device you dont have to worry... however the UMA will not work for tmo as its hardwired into the 8900 for the rogers settings, no way to change that...

Yes, I know it was confirmed for T-Mobile for today, Black Friday.
And it was confirmed. Not just a normal, made up rumor. It was confirmed.

Yeah, I used a Rogers 8310 (GF is using it now) and am now using a Rogers 9000. All on T-Mobile USA with no issues.

I didn't see you in line. When were you there to get the confirmed 8900 from T-Mobile?

I work for Best Buy.. It's the 8900 isn't even in our inventory list yet.Believe me, I check daily.

The only thing 8900 we have in our inventory is the 8900/storm battery and the starter kit.

LOL. I learned when I first signed up for TMO....six years ago I think....not to hold my breath waiting for a new phone that was due out any time now, next month, etc. I'd have turned blue from holding my breath and still be waiting for that Nokia 7210 that was supposed to be released on TMO within a month or so at the time if I hadn't. (Guess it's a good thing I went ahead and bought it unlocked.....many, many phones ago.)

well your manager is wrong, its suppose to be released in december sometime as Q4 results are down so they are pushing for a release in dec to bring up profit and sales, and basically numbers... lets hope they dont drop the ball with the 8900 like they did with the bold
