don't worry karma will get him, i made fun of my brother for accidentally shaving a patch in his head while shaving and since then I have been locked in my room only to get out with the help of the fire dept and i chipped like 7 teeth in my head in a tension bar accident. If i get karma for making fun of my brothers patch he most certainly will as well!

I don't think I want to know why you had your mouth around a tension bar.

I had my bb stolen Friday while watching a July 4th Parade, found it less then a block away in a garbage can.. thank goodness for a loud ringtone! If I had found them with it..... I really don't know what I would have done to the person who stole it!

Don't take this the wrong way but he was bragging about not turning it in basicly and his attitude was childish, wasn't someone we needed here on the forums

No offense taken. Itxxx8217;s not my site so itxxx8217;s what ever "the powers that be" feel like doing. He broke no rules on the forum so I thought it was a little over the top. Do I think he stole it? No. I do think he found it and has no intention of returning it which is wrong. I just think banning someone for no rule broken and making a judgment call is a little over the top IMO. But thatxxx8217;s just my thought which in the grand scheme of things means nothing.

I banned him not because of what he was doing (which i agree was horribly wrong) but because of how he came to this forum, how he reacted to people trying to get him to do the right thing. Its entirely possible the device was stolen. If he wants help, somewhere else, he should change his attitude, but that is not welcome here. I wont allow him to taint what this forum has done in the past few weeks with Dawg and with Audit. We raised several thousand dollars to help members in need in a very short time. Why would we want someone that

Stealing a phone, and keeping a found phone despite being presented with a number of suggestions on ways to return it are the same in my opinion.

I have seen worse attitudes go unchecked but if this is the "New" way rudeness will be handled then i am all for it.

It is not a "new" way, or rule. The poster was being a jerk, and Sith (as do other moderators here) has the discretion to deal with it as he sees fit.
Yes, there have been some worse attitudes at time around here, and sometimes from users who contribute much greater to the forum than a single inquiry on how to use a found or stolen device. So, they are dealt with individually, and sometimes, never.
