I can't get attachments to show.

I saw the list of available formats that the Pearl can read and I read the help on how to view attachments, but mine aren't showing. Did I break my Pearl or is everyone affected?

I have been having the same problem since I got my 8100 until today. I checked the tmo support site and some threads here and checked what they said > I went to options-advanced-applications and made sure Attachment service was there <... It was indeed there, I clicked on it etc. but did not change anything at all...

Then I went back to an email with an attachment and guess what??? It opened the attachment. Then I tried an attachment that I could not open yesterday and that opened as well... Strange but it is working now...

It turns out that the Pearl can import vCards in email. Many T-mobile reps don't know this. It also turns out that vCards sent from Entourage don't work.

The solution that I used: send the vCard from gmail.

Once the email arrives on the phone, you can use the menu to add the address to your address book. It looks like you can send multiple vCards also.

Anybody want to test this further?
p.s. I used my blackberry.net account on the phone.
