Dear all,

I am interested to connect my Pearl to a handheld GPS receiver. I have read the various posts in this forum.

From what I've understood, all products require a GPRS connection to get the mapping data. This not only is sometimes impossible due to lack of signal, but will also be expensive if one travels outside the home country (GPRS roaming charges, etc.)

Does anyone know of a mapping product that lets you download maps (or parts thereof) directly to the Pearl?
