Has anyone gotten the Sling Player to work on the Tour using the work around instructions?

I am running the 1.0.0.2 bold version with a slingbox AV and it works great. Every now and then it hangs or reboots but I love my sling and I love 3G speeds! It work on both Verizon and Sprint.

I had slingbox software that I bought for my Treo 755P

I had to pay $30 for it.

Does the work around mean I'd have to pay another $30 for BB software or does Slingbox give you a break if you change phones for a software upgrade.

Can I get the Slingbox download for Palm OS to work by using a workaround for playing on the Tour?

I don't want to screw the Tour up! It's been very stable out of the box.
