Jus got off the SE Helpdesk and they say should not be any issue. Is the version 3.35 the latest, or its something else. Perhaps when the helpdesk was trying its stable he he, mine totally unstable all the way.

Anyway, I am having problem to get it work under BIS with my P990i, when I restart the phone, the BB Connect actually connect for a short while then the connection will be gone forever.

There is no way to connect back unless I do another installation of the program for another time no matter I click on the "On" or "Resume" key, no action at all.

I'm sure its the same issue as with P910. Blackberry Connect will not work with BIS version 2.0 and higher (it was working fine with older versions). BES was working fine for me with T-Mobile.

Just tried it on T-mobile USA. Installed fine, got it to register. Logged onto T-mobile website and it automatically asked me if I wanted to change to new device. Pressed "Yes" and it says unable to register because of an unknown error.

I haven't had luck with T-mobile and blackberry for my E61, M600i, and now P990i. It must be T-mobile blocking it to register on their network.

Did you try manual registration? You have to enter PIN and IMEI. Does T-Mobile carry any of the above phones? They did carry P910 for a while in Europe. I never had any issues with P910 as a Blackberry (except for BIS).

Hi, I have BB Connect installed on my P990i (BES) and it worked fine. Problem is its in the main phone memory and its eating up memory space fast. Any way of moving all these into the memory card ? When installing it seems default is in the main phone memory.

Anyone have it installed in the card instead ?

I think the software provided 'Quickoffice' may not be able to open word, excel. The third party Document to Go may be necessary. Juz guessing.

word/excel should be readable via the blackberry reader, however you can't (well i've yet to find it) download the files onto the phone and open them with quick office. the same goes for any file including jpgs which i have to get via logging in to webmail via the browser.

Wirelessly posted (SonyEricssonP990i/R100 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Symbian OS; 306) Opera 8.60 [en])

the attachment problem is a bug in BB connect.

BB connect supposed to support viewing of attachment and downloading of attachment (size not more than 32K).

Went to SE service centre today and was told that a new version of BB connect will be released mid Sep. This shd resolve the attachment problem. Chinese language will be released at the same time.
