What else have you loaded in main memory? Media files? Themes? ...

This is probably a factor in your app world issue, too.

What about pictures, video and music? Have you loaded any on the blackberry? If so, do you know where it loaded? Are you using a media card?

Also, that OS you loaded is not an official release, correct?

Whoa, fix your exisitng problems first. (No, one cannot run apps from the media card.)

Go to options > status and copy and past your file free. Remove the battery for about 30 seconds, and repeat. Post the before and after numbers that you copy and paste.

Also, is that a beta OS you installed? I assume you didn't have this problem beforehand, and it sounds like the OS install is reeally the only thing different. Is that correct?

ok thank you i have found the problem. No the new beta OS is great. I looked at the database sizes and i see i have a setting that says keep messages forever making my e-mail size almost 10meg - so will cut on that a bit.

thx i now have more memory for more apps again. they should make the 128meg rather 500meg or something.

Ouch! 10MB of emails ...

Thanks for the update. I was stumped on how you could be using up all the memory. Never occurred to me to think about that message option.
